What is this?
Arnold is a solo project that questions the representations of bodies within the history of art. Inspired by a vast iconography, ARNOLD is a character who constantly transforms, from painting to sculpture, from nymph to body-builder, from Pippi Longstocking to buster Keaton. Walking through the story and its feminine images, Arnold tries to understand the meaning of these ambiguous figures, to embrace them, to embody them, to deride them, to transform them or to reject them.
In her artistic approach, Zoé wants to meet women who were young in the 60s and 70s. Through their personal stories and that of their time, Zoe will talk about pictorial representation and how they build our bodies. Zoe offers the Goldies an iconographic epic to highlight the constant evolution of our images and to try to produce new ones in the form of dances, memory atlases, discussions...
On this day Zoe will use Mathilde’s Yoga practice to explore new forms of embodiement.
